Up for auction/sale is a vintage 12oz heavy glass beer mug/stein, which features the Union Pacific logo. I tried to date this specifically, but was unable to locate any other examples of this stein, and the logo has not changed significantly since 1969.
Rather you work for Union Pacific, want to recognize someone who does, or collect railroad memorabilia, this is a pretty hard to find item which would look great on anyone's bar or in anyone's collection. (or, in your hand filled with beer!)
The mug is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or damage of any sort, but the logo does show some minor signs of age/wear, but is still bright and vibrant. (see high-resolution images). The rough overall measurements are 5 1/2" tall, with a 2 3/4" rim, is 4 1/2" wide at the handle, has a 2 3/4" heavily weighted base, and holds a full 12oz of your favorite brew.
I have described this mug as best I can, but to augment my description I have provided several high-resolution images from varying angles to allow for a detailed review of quality, condition, and desirability.
