    Please forgive the orange glare in the images. It is not on the glass.... just a reflection. From the old days -- whether buying a root beer or small beer in the station itself or in the dining cart, this glass is a reminder of 'class' and quality offered to travelers on the rails. Post Depression -- 1938 or so.  With the words 'Train Station' in gold but fading even though you can still see the lettering.
